I am a multi-displinary designer, who is excited and inspired by new ideas, new mediums, collaboration and exploration. Design is all about creative problem solving; seeing a need, opportunity or desire and creating into that void. This is why i get up in the morning.
I have 8+ years experience as womenswear designer with a specialty in bringing new technology, in materials and constructions to both contemporary women's wear and functional sports wear. From research, trend analysis and creative direction, to garment design and techpacking, managing a team, fitting, collaborating with a variety of manufacturers, and final execution of the product; I enjoy and have a wealth of experience in all points of the process. I also value curiosity and choose to work in roles that are fast paced, interesting, collaborative and dynamic.

The japanese art of indigo dying. First fabric must be elaborately folded to create desired patterns, then it is repeatedly dunked into Indigo dye, and then left to rest and oxidize. The number of times through this cycle will determine the depth of the indigo colour. Endless variation is possible!
